- Log in to https://my.servetheworld.net
- Click Domains
- Click My Domains
- Click Manage next to the relevant domain name
- Select Manage domain name
- Here you will find menu options for, among other things:
- Change nameservers
- DNS
- Renewal
- Contact information (WHOIS)
- Transfer code (EPP/Auth-ID)
Order web hosting for an existing domain
- Go to Products and Order Web & Email
- Choose the desired Web & Email package
- Select Use existing domain and update nameservers myself, and enter your domain name.
- Complete the purchase
Domain name renewal
All domains at ServeTheWorld are renewed automatically. You can disable automatic renewal at any time in the control panel if you do not wish to keep the domain name. The domain name will then be deleted after a given date so that others can register it.
Manage domain name renewal
- Log in to https://my.servetheworld.net
- Click Domains
- Click My Domains
- Click Manage next to the relevant domain name
- Select Manage renewal
- Here you can turn automatic renewal on or off
Renew a domain name manually
- Log in to https://my.servetheworld.net
- Click Domains
- Click My Domains
- Click Manage next to the relevant domain name
- Select Renew domain name
- Click Add to cart and proceed to Checkout
Transfer a domain name to ServeTheWorld
- The domain name must have been registered for at least 60 days (does not apply to .no domains)
- The domain name has not been transferred within the last 60 days (does not apply to .no domains)
- The domain name must be unlocked for transfer (unlocked by your current domain provider)
- You need an authorization code (EPP code) from your current domain provider
- The contact information for the domain name is correct (WHOIS). If you are unsure, contact your current domain provider
Update contact information for a domain name (WHOIS)
Note that changing the email address, first name, last name, or company may trigger a verification process to complete the change of contact information for the Registrant (domain owner).
In short, this means that an email will be sent to the old and new owner to confirm the changes.

- Click Domains
- Click My Domains
- Click Manage next to the relevant domain name
- Click WHOIS Contact Information
- Update the contact information in the Owner/Registrant and Admin sections
- Click Save changes to save the changes
Authorization code for your domain name (transfer code)
How to obtain the authorization code for your domain name (also called a transfer code or EPP code).
- Log in to https://my.servetheworld.net
- Click Domains
- Click My Domains
- Click Manage next to the relevant domain name
- Click Auth-ID/EPP code to retrieve the domain’s transfer code.
- Some domain types also require removing the registrar lock in order to transfer the domain name; see the section below for guidance.
Manage registrar lock
- Log in to https://my.servetheworld.net
- Click Domains
- Click My Domains
- Click Manage next to the relevant domain name
- Click Registrar Lock
- Set to OFF to remove the lock. Set to ON to enable the lock.
