Install certificate on shared hosting
Install certificate with intermediate and key
Before you start, you should have a copy of the certificate, intermediate, and key. Click here for a guide if you ordered via https://my.servetheworld.net
Save the certificate, intermediate, and key in one and the same text document, see example below.
Save the file as e.g. file-name.pem or file-name.crt

- Log in to https://my.servetheworld.net
- Go to Products and select My Products
- Select the relevant web hosting/domain name
- Click Advanced settings
- Go to Websites & Domains and find the relevant domain name
- Click SSL/TLS Certificates

A) Select Upload .PEM file if you have not installed an SSL certificate for the domain name before.
B) Click Advanced Settings if an existing certificate is installed, then click ADD SSL/TLS CERTIFICATE
A) Select the file that contains the certificate, intermediate, and key. The certificate is now installed and will automatically be used by the relevant domain name (you do not need to follow the rest of the guide).
B) Follow the guide further if there is already an (expired/old) certificate installed and you want to install a new certificate.
- Enter a name that describes the certificate in the Certificate Name field
- Find the Upload the certificate as text field and paste in the certificate, intermediate, and key
- Click Upload Certificate
- The certificate, intermediate, and key are now installed.
- Go back to Websites & Domains and find the relevant domain name
- Click Hosting & DNS and select Hosting Settings
- Select the relevant certificate in the Certificate field and click OK to save. The certificate is now in use for the domain name.
Install intermediate
- Log in to https://my.servetheworld.net
- Go to Products and select My Products
- Select the relevant web hosting/domain name
- Click Advanced settings
- Go to Websites & Domains and find the relevant domain name
- Click SSL/TLS Certificates
- Click Advanced Settings
- Click the relevant certificate
- Paste the certificate and intermediate into the respective fields named Certificate (.crt) and CA certificate (-ca.crt)
- Click Upload Certificate to save
